End-of-life and euthanasia care
Equine Veterinary Associates is proud to take care of your horses throughout their lifetime, to be a small part of their story, and help them feel their best at every stage of their life. We are also honored to be a part of the end of their life. Whether in an emergency, or planned, EVA provides end-of-life and euthanasia services.
While it is not a topic anyone wants to think about, it is important to have end-of-life plans in place for your horse. Your veterinarian can help guide you in the decision-making process for assessing your horse’s quality of life and the question of when it is time to let them go, as well as the logistics surrounding euthanasia.
We understand that the decision to euthanize, the time surrounding that decision and the following loss are all incredibly difficult, and the veterinarians at EVA are here to support you through that process.
